Let's revive this discussion and pick some dates. I'm definitely in. I want to start the day shooting sunrise over Lake Michigan.

ok, well the only day i cant shoot is the 16th. sunrise sounds awesome, maybe from out on the pier or on one of the points along the lake. i was looking forward to doing some people shooting in millenium but i can do that on my own time if no one else wants to

I'm thinking that I can do this as well. I too would love to do a sunrise lakefront shoot.

Bump, because I'd sorta still like to see this happen before the summer is over.

I could do August 16 or 23 (for the Saturdays) or August 15, 22, or 29 (for the Sundays).

the 16th is the only day i will be in town and able to shoot early. and apparently im supposed to be at a party all day after 8am so im gonnna have to bail after the sunrise shoot

LadyK, there's a good chance Kirbic and I are going to do this (weather permitting, of course). Sunrise at Adler Planetarium, followed by a yummy breakfast, followed by some sightseeing/shooting. Kirbic and I likely won't be able to stay all day.

Where are all the Chicago DPCers??

Oh, John, seeing you guys are planning a GTG makes me all "home" sick. You know if I was still living in Chicago I'd be there in a heartbeat. Have fun!

it was actually really nice today. my cousin and i road around on my uncle's harley on the expressway(yes, with my camera gear on my back. i do NOT suggest doing it EVER) all day and it was very pleasent(and terrifying). its supposed to get even better this week

I'd like to do, but I'd have to bring a potentially very sleep (and very cranky) 5 year old with me. The perils of being a doctor's spouse is that they're never home! If I could get free, what time would we be looking to meet?
