Figured I would throw this out there in case anyone else was kicking around and wanted to meet up somewhere. I will be visiting BeeCee in Victoria from Sunday July 12th to Sat the 18th.
One place Im hopping to hit in particular is Butchart Gardens but other than that Im not entirely sure where else Ill be going as Im letting BeeCee play tour guide lol so if there's any other ideas or anyone wants to meet up let me know :)
I figured we'd visit Pacific Northwest Raptors in Duncan, wander Cowichan Bay and area, hit the Butter church.
We're going to the classic Caddy car show at Ft Rodd Hill the day Dave arrives, so he can get cars, history and scenery all in one.
Of course we have to do all the localish beaches and parks; Goldstream, French Beach, hopefully China Beach etc., and have to do the downtown touristy stuff like the harbour ferry to fisherman's wharf and feed Charlie the seal.
Any other suggestions are more than welcome! Too bad it's too big an island to hit some of the places I'd like to :(
Oh, and congrats on the grandbaby-to-be. Tell mama that she needs to have it this weekend so that you can get away next week. It worked for me when my aunt told me that; my son was born the next day, 12 days early so aunty could see him before she went back to Alberta :)
