Does the photographer get to keep the votes he/she received and the effect it makes on their overall average when their photo is dq'ed?

I have asked this quetion of SC before and could never get a straight answer. But from what I can see on several different photographers' profile pages, you get to keep all of your votes which to me is not fair. So you cheat (intentionally or not) and get a high score, you get to keep it when the photo is DQ'ed.

if a photograph is disqualified, the photographer loses the votes applied to that photograph in the calculation of their Avg. Vote Received. the voter retains the vote they gave the DQ'd photograph as part of their Avg. Vote Given
however, the averages are only calculated once per week (Sunday rollover?), thus the current discrepancy.

No, that is not true. You told me this once before so I waited a week or two and checked back, the photographer kept the votes. I can try to find that photographer's profile if you like to show you.

The results of the 'Construction II' challenge have been recalculated again, this time for the disqualification of the former 4th and 10th place images for use of illegal layer blending modes and not providing a valid original respectively. Congrats to our new top 10!
