Greetings,

I am fairly new to DPChallenge. The City Life challenge led me to spend a couple evenings after work wondering throughout the downtown area of Lexington, Kentucky looking for interesting subject matter. To be honest with you I feel I did a poor job of recognizing opportunities for capturing the challenge theme. After returning home to process the photographs I did take, I had difficulty deciding which if any truly captured the theme of this contest. I may have erred in my selection as what may have been my best candidate. Please look at the out takes and let me know which photograph 1 should have selected -

I enjoy participating in DPchallenge and hope to get better at my selection of subject matter, composition, and contest candidate selection.

Bob,

I can't view this album. Is there something you have to do to make it shared or public?

I enjoyed them all. They are all pretty good. My favorites are # 2, and # 6. I enjoy the perspective of # 2 and the colors in # 6.

Hi Bob,
my husband and I tried to think of some interesting shots to take in Lexington, also, but it was a bit difficult. My husband actually entered one that I'm sure you will recognize... Lexington is such a small city that it seemed so hard to take a great picture that would represent it. I kept thinking to myself that someone would really need to *be* there, looking around to really get the feel of it. But, I do like the shot you chose - as I mentioned in my comments to you. :) You had some other nice ones, also.

Thanks Laurie,

I think Lexington has much to offer as far as shots go... I feel we just haven't found many of them yet :)
