You can convert to RGB mode and then paint the color onto a new layer; adjusting the Mode and opacity of that layer should let you control the color. If the elements you want to colorize are relatively solid, you can select them with the Magic Wand tool and then paint within the selection to limit where the color goes.
Oops -- I see now, tons of images...
Again, if the areas you want to affect are of a relatively discrete shade of gray, you can convert to RGB, then use a Curve on one channel only to add color within a limited tonal range. If all the images are similar, you can then maybe make an Action to batch process the images.
