I kind of feel like an idiot here. I have a question that is sort of along the same lines as Crisa''s in the other forum, I guess. I''ve never used anything but transparencies for brochures I''ve done. I''ve always sent them with the quark file for the printer to scan. I''m new to the digital camera. So if I''m going to use digital photos---ones that I take--what do I need to do to be able to send those files along with my Quark file to be printed? How do I need to shoot them and save them? Will they work? I feel like this is a stupid question but if anyone can help I''d appreciate it.
As long as I take them at a larger size and size them down to fit, will it have as much quality as a transparency?

Actually...I''ve done logos, stationery packages and business cards...invitations and such, and I can do those with no problem...but I''m wanting to try to start a little freelancing on the side. I''m probably better off hiring a professional photographer, but if I can design brochures using digital photos that I or someone else has taken, it will save me and my customer some bucks. This is a long way off because I have a lot to learn. If anyone can help...thank you. :)
