Needy, clingy business cards turn me off

I've been flipping through some business cards today. Most seem to have FOUR different phone numbers, one had FIVE. Plus a host of other info.

Office
Direct
Mobile
Fax
Home
Toll Free

To me it seems like the clingy girlfriend.

I've never before thought of businesses as emotionally grabby. This is an uncomfortable revelation.

Having helped print business cards for more than 20 years, I have to say I don't mind having all those numbers on the card, if they would only print them BIG ENOUGH TO READ.

Lawyers seem to be the worst -- I've yet to see an attorney's card which can be read in the light typically available at the police station ... :-(

Those cards still exist, somewhere. Actually, my current card has email only -- no phone numbers. ;-)

My photography card is pretty spartan.

Not sure if it does or not. Maybe. You could always try it and see. Given he's the creative director at Google and giving away the template, that might count as some level of endorsement/ encouragement?
