I was thinking the same thing. I tried to come up with something clever, but I failed, so unless a coup happens in the next four hours, I'll be enjoying this from afar. :~)
Shhhhh. No need to wake the others. Oh, now someone else has entered. ... Oh well, I submitted mid-week, then switched out the image for a cleaner version re-shot today with hardly any real change. Pretty happy with being strectched ("challenged") to find the right inspiration, and ended up personally pleased with the resulting image -- whatever the eventual score or placement. (So I bravely say now, but without turning off the update button.)
While 62 is still a rather small number, this doesn't really come close to the Jan. 2009 "Stock Photos: The Business Person" challenge, with only 34 entries. Interesting to see the average vote was 319 for that one, dampening the notion that most votes come from those who enter the challenges, being the only people interested enough to look closely at each image. Also, that one had an average comments result of 25 per image. (Although, perhaps that was from people seeing a shortcut to a 100% comments ribbon.) Will be interesting to see what happens with this one. Best of luck to everyone.
I tried to take the humorous approach but either needed to haul a piece of furniture out somewhere, or remove most of the stuff in my house to make it work. LOL
