Yes boys and girls, the mighty Max will be staying at Chateau Snaffles over the course of the next weekend (May 17-20 are the dates, I believe) and would like to meet other dpcers apart from his demented hostess :-)
Some ideas for places to shoot:
Ottawa - Tulipfest is wrapping up. However, will likely be quite busy and parking is a pain in the whatsit.
Kemptville/Oxford Mills/Merrickville - All or 1-2 of these scenic small towns. Added bonus: K'ville has Dandelion Fest. We don't need to shoot no stinkin' tulips! Extra incentive for those of you who have to drive allllll the way out here - a bbq at the legendary Chateau Snaffles.

Well lemme see...you probably have your driver's permit by now, eh? Just umm err 'borrow' the more fuel-efficient of your parents' cars, 'borrow' a credit card or two or five, Mapquest Chateau Snaffles, and there ya go! :-)

Alright, I've confirmed the dates and I'll be arriving on the 14th and picking up materials for a job I'm doing back home. The rest of the weekend is open for photography which is the
reason for this trip. As for doing work on Saturday/Sunday, I offered to bring along my tools and earn my keep at Chateau Snaffles so either she now has had the time to think of enough
things to keep me run off my feet for the rest of the weekend or the wheels fell off during our conversation and I didn't communicate clearly enough to her that my friends (when I go to
visit) usually have me bring all my tools with me so I can help if something is going on or if something happens while I'm there and I forgot to tell her that I'm only planning to visit
her and other DPCers this weekend, friends and family can sit this one out :) I'm here for ME this time and no one else. (OK, for you guys too but not them) So if Saturday is better, then
lets make it Saturday. I was planning to head home later on Sunday to avoid the traffic and other long weekend headaches.
Thoughts, anyone???

Ohhhh, OK, sorry Max things did get a leetle kinda sorta lost in translation! *grin*. I sure don't mind shooting all weekend! :-) But don't want to abuse your abilities with power tools too much, don't want it to turn into a busman's holiday for you; that's work, and that's no fun!
So you all heard the Max! Lots of time and opportunity for a gtg or possibly a couple - a Chateau-Snaffles-area one for Friday, probably late morning-afternoon, and a more Ottawa-based one for Saturday . What do you guys think?
