I am so excited!! My photo was picked for the National Geographic daily dozen!! If my photo is the top vote getter for May, I get published in National Geographic!!!
National Geographic magazine has a Your Best Shot section where they publish photos taken by readers. How it works:
Readers can submit photos-I believe it's one per month. The editor picks 12 a day for "the daily dozen". From the Daily Dozen, a selection of photos will be published monthly in National Geographic magazine. Vote for your favorite. The top voted photograph will be published in National Geographic.
