I will be there, and was wondering what places I should check out, and what places are good to take photos oh. I heard about a few places... maybe someone can vouch for them =)

1. The peir right in front of the Yachtsman Resort Hotel
2. Springmaid
3. The Pavillion?
4. Murell's Inlet

I hope I can find these places lol

I am not from there but I did vacation there last year. Don't forget to get up early and take photos of the sunrise over the ocean. They are beautiful. There are fireworks over many of the piers at night. Don't forget to look at the moon at night...sometimes it is at its best over the water.

I used to live there... In Murrell's Inlet, actually. I love the moon shots, and sun rise shots from the inlet over garden city... here's one of my favorites: //www.deviantart.com/deviation/6754995/.

I'm not sure about the Pavillion... It's just an amusement park.. maybe the peirs into the ocean by the Pavillion, though... Also check out Pauly's Island, just south of Murrell's Inlet, it's a great rustic/old beach community...
