I just got back from a weekend 30-mile backpacking trip on the Superior Hiking Trail in Minnesota, thought I'd share a few of the better shots from along the way:

First
Second
Third
Fourth
Fifth
Sixth
Last

Any comments are welcome. I strongly encourage a trip down this trail if any of you get the chance - really nice place.

Nice work Martin!

I really like the last one, the night river shot. Awesome, looks like its a river made of silver or something.

Me and a couple friends might do a 50-60 mile stretch of the pacific crest trail near here in a few weeks... it'd be nice to get out there and take some pictures.

I love the third, the fourth, and the last one. The Third image though is probably my overall fave. Some lovely tones in that image. I'm going backpacking into the hills/mountains myself in a few weeks time, your images have made me even more excited :)

When posting multiple large images, please post them behind links or thumbnails. Posts such as this can take an excessive amount of time for our dialup users to load.

To use links, you can list the URLs one per line and check the "Automatically parse URLs" box before clicking submit.
