As much as I would love to get a really high score, I recognize the talent and practice that takes and respect it. I get a lot of satisfaction from knowing that there were handful of folks who actually gave a couple of mine 8, 9, and 10's -- the photos spoke to a few. That's pretty cool.
i am delighted by my unexpected score of 6.19 with 141 votes and 11 comments in abstract. being a relative newcomer and generally a very middling contender this is a wonderful turn of events.
having just run through about half of the rusted entries and A) i'm exhausted and B) i'm very impressed. i wish i had had time to make an entry. alas. it's a lot of photos already...

I haven't finished voting, and I know it's a chore with a challenge this big - especially with dial-up. It would be tempting to vote on thumbnails alone. However, there are many WONDERFUL images which would go unappreciated unless viewed at full size. I am in awe of the creativity and artistic ability you folks possess.
