Yeah, this is part of the interest to me (as a long time IT contractor) above the destruction of this segment of the photg market.... They wanted cheaper so turned photg into "contractors" and now want to lock them in as employees.... As you say the IRS has taken a dim view of that in the past.
It's also interesting how AP is going to play the $$ from NFL against the public interest and news stuff - It was played badly in the recent past but AP has more of a stake in the reporting world and has a lot to lose if they try and embargo stuff the NFL does not want splashed over the place. |
