Since we are not getting great scores on the current Textures Challenge how about if we make a 100% effort to Vote and Comment on the Textures Challenge...
Anybody with me? We have 6 days to do this...come on we can do it...as "we" know how to score better than the Trolls!!! So prove it!! Take back control :)
That's a bit narrow-minded isn't it. Surely the range 2-4 would be better?
Nah, a 1 or 2 suggests that I actually gave some thought to deciding the image was that bad. A 3 indicates I flung it out without much care and took no time to think about or examine the entry.
Allright, I'll vote on 99%, but cant vote on my own. I will make zero comments because I am not experienced enough to comment in a constructive manner.
I am always amazed at the imaginative and creative photos I have seen here at dpc. My only goal is to average a 5, and I have a long way to go for that!

Please don't worry about constructive/non-constructive comments. Anyone who is voting has a valid opinion on photographs. I find that the people who are not used to commenting give the most honest opinions, and I value them immensely. If you're uncertain about commenting, one thing you can do is bag yourself during the voting week (comment anonymously--this is only during the voting process, but it can give a little more confidence during the process)

it took me quite awhile to start commenting...I didn't (and still don't) recognize some of the techniques that are being used...but I have learned (and am learning) what to look for...it has really really helped me...thank you Judi for kicking my butt into this...
