I dont really like the fence at all, I really dont think it adds anything to the photo. I love the lighthouse though, its a fantastic subject and shot.

It is a cool subject! You could spend a lot of time getting shots in such a pretty place!
I like this version the original because your edit got rid of unwanted clutter and still framed it using the rule of thirds making for a more pleasing photo.
