And check out local craft shows. see about getting or sharing a booth with another artist. Sell your work there! If you make an income, you should report it to the IRS incase of an audit. Call a tax person with questions or even call the IRS info line. I know that if you make under a certain amount, you don't have to report it, but I think that number is very small. If you want to write off your camera equipment, you should really consider getting incorporated into a Sub-S Corp. It's easy to do and not too expensive. I did it a few years ago, but made almost nothing. So, I was able to write off my supplies, but it wasn't worth the annual filing fees. Good luck! |
