I have 2 ideas. I have no idea if I can actually manage either!
Bugger. I was going to enter this challenge, now that I finally have my act together and am entering a few. I live in a beautiful subtropical paradise........that has just gone under several metres of water. It all happened in half an hour, literally, it took an hour to get home this afternoon (a 5 minute drive normally) and I'm told I now won't be able to get in or out of my place. It may be several days! I guess I could offer up an island shot of my house, but its all horribly grey, rainy and the water is very brown! Not fair!
Oh goodie....does this mean it is time to do another one of these????

The www is a big place, if you don't like a type of photography that is acceptable on this site.
As long as this rule isn't broken - submit a photograph depicting male or female genitalia, or acts of sex deemed inappropriate by a majority of the Site Council. then nobody can complain.
You shouldn't 'hope' that someone doesn't do what they enjoy doing!
no - HE can 'hope' all he wants - but he shouldn't expect that rest of the world 'hope' along with him. nor did he. he also didn't imply that WE should respond in a certain manner to the image.
he merely - personally 'hoped' she wouldn't do it again.

Judi (the subject of the pointless negativity) is currently ranked 13th
favourite out of the 1000's of members on here, Kiwiness (3rd) and
DrJones (10th) are very popular nude photographers here too.
In my own portfolio, I don't have many nudes, but the ones I do have get
at least ten times as many hits as my other stuff!
Anyways, this thread isn't to discuss the rights and wrongs on nude photography.
Mr Hawkeye is more than welcome to start a thread in suggestions area,
but I doubt he will get much support!
Just a bit of a reminder. Judis picture came in 88th in that post card challenge so I say to Judi to keep bringing on the nudes and anyone else that wants to join her! Makes more room for not-so-nudes to be in the top ten! hahaha.

Similar posts to what Kevin said have been made regarding droplet shots (and other subjects as well). Would your response to someone hoping not to see another water drop shot be the same? It should be...after all it would be "pointless negativity", yes?

Hmmm...I suppose it would if they entered them a few times a month...but considering my last nude entry was back in 06/24/2008....I can see how you would consider that I am overdoing it on the nude side of things.

i would repeat my argument to go and find another site to fit their mindset as well.
i really don't understand people logging on to DPC everyday (and probably paying to be a member aswell) just complaining.

Judi, no disrespect intended towards you. I enjoy your work and applaud your success. I was just attempting to point out that other subjects get tossed around as overdone, disliked, etc... (flowers, bugs, and waterfalls to name a few). A four word, civilly stated reaction should certainly be allowed without flaming the poster.
I'm probably at risk of beating the dead horse at this point myself, so I'll try to back away semi-graciously now. :-)
