Melethia has rallied everyone into commenting on the photos in the 1000th Challenge and KarenNfld is rallying people to mark more photos as favorites. Now I propose we leave more 10 votes! It's the greatest idea evah!!!
It's simple, just give AT LEAST 5 photos from the challenge a 10 vote. We all know that getting a 10 is a huge boost, here's a chance to make someone's score just a little better. If you can't find 5 photos to give a 10 vote to then just leave one on my entry and I'll distribute it accordingly...
In a normal challenge, I give 1, maybe 2 tens to my pick(s) for the blue ribbon. Then I give a couple of 9's for the other two ribbons. Then the rest look like a normal bell curve most of the time in the 4-8 range.
In this challenge I have given out 14 tens and 18 nines. Since there is no challenge description, if I think a photographer was creative and nailed what they were trying to do, I put a 10 on it. If it was a little less creative, a 9.
It doesn't have to be your style to deserve a 10. Loosen up and enjoy the pictures, it doesn't cost any more to give a 9 or 10 than it does a 7 or 8.
