Is the file locked/read-only? (Shouldn't matter, I know). Otherwise, I suggest a full restart -- that does seem to solve about 90% of computer problems ...

This has happened to me before - seems to happen randomly, but I've read it's a memory issue.

when I was building computers I told my clients, if something goes wrong. Reboot first and if that doesnt work, panic, calm down then call me :)
