Hello everyone I am new to the site as a member. I have enjoyed the site for years, but recently decided to join in order to hopefully learn and progress as a photographer. I have recently entered in my first challenge - and can see that I have ALOT to learn! I look forward to getting feedback (Good and Bad). This seems like a great place to share and discover what it means to be involved with the Photography community.
Welcome to the madhouse PNH. I assume you already have had the run down on the nutcases here....stay right away from them and only listen to the redheads...we rule!
As for photography....yeah I suppose we do some of that here too....but be ready for a whole range of opinions....take what you want from them and grow....and tell everyone else to bugga off...lol!

Welcome to the crazy world that is DPC. Obviously you have ignored Jeff's advice to run.
A lot of peoples first entry does not do too well. There are somethings about this site, how to present things and a lot about photography that you learn along the way. I look backa t my first entry and wonder what I was thinking at the time, as you learn to notice the little things.
If you don't get much feedback on your image, start a thread and ask for feedback. Many of us are a little short on time, but will give a much more detailed comment after the challenge if it is asked for..........
