well... it's not THAT important... but - aren't there prizes for the winners? ;)
maybe i'm wrong but in the past i remember that every challenge had a little prize.

You joined DPC in December 2004, you entered your first challenge in July 2007, you have posted in 10 forums over the last 2 years, you added photos to your favourites in May 2006 and you haven't commented on any images...I would say that your time on this site has been quite minimal so I think it would be fair to say that your memory is probably of another site. As far as I remember, no physical prizes have been offered per se on this site.
you might be thinking of betterphoto.com ?
just a guess....
although IMO - they SUCK now-a-days...
