The left one is from 70-300mmVR lens. I actually liked the right one better (from 18-105mmVR).. was kindaa suprprised that a cheaper lens gave better result at its max end of the range...hence this thread. But thanks to y'all... the extra bucks on 70-300 dont hurt me any more. Hah!
The right one? Goodness me, what a strange choice. To me, the left is soooo much better. Look at the detail on the long grass mid-right, check out the colour fringing around the greenery adjacent to the windows top middle and look at the way the highlights are reproduced on the pink boat.

Ok that proves I still need to learn how to look at a picture and analyze the details. Thank goodness I havent been voting in challenges lately.
