Using the program that you use to adjust color, try sliding the saturation button all the way down, then move the color sliders to in effect see how the scenes would look if shot with color filters.
The horizons are way out of level in the first two. There is a lot of ghosting/lens flare in the into the sun shot with the pier. When you shoot directly into the sun, try shading the lens with your hand or a deep lens shade that will keep the sun from shining directly on the front of the lens. In some shots, the flare can be an element of the image, however, I feel that it distracts from the lines of that shot.
I am not sure what to say about the trees with halos. Did it come from the camera that way, or is that a processing thing?
