It looks very promising, though there really isn't any information there yet. I see you have several sponsors lined up already, assuming they aren't just arbitrary examples of sponsors you hope to get, and that should allow you to provide a free magazine while the advertisers, writers and producers can still make money. I have a stack of slick, free trade publications on my desk full of advertising, as I'm sure those in many vocations get, and a no-paper, no-snail-mail publication should be much easier to economically create.
[ETA] Just a suggestion that you obtain the available and more standardly used homephotography.com since most people wouldn't think of typing in .ca.
Yeah we are kinda keeping whats coming up secretive and just haven t had a chance to get blurbs from each of the writers yet. As for the domain name I will look into it but I know that on godaddy its $2000.00 and everywhere else its not available.
Those are real sponsors who just want us to prove we can get the readership going :)
So the first issue will be a bit low budget.
Reason for online flash style magazine was
1: to build the readership before having a printed magazine made
2: when I started to talk amongst friends and other photographers about the project they urged me to go international with it. (Originally it was going to be a Canadian Magazine hence the .ca)
3: Is well budget :)
Thanks for the fast support guys our team of editors, designers, and writers are working so hard to get this magazine built and hope to be able to bring it to you for years to come :)
Yeah I am excited to play with the composer thats for sure.
Actually plan to use it at a winter festival here in town with ice sculptures so should get some interesting and fun shots.
