This one ended my 5+ streak with a 4.870 and my "Where you Live" shot is getting toally hammered, it's looking to be my second worst score. At least I really like the pictures as opposed to my earlier 4 shots when I first joined.

Hey Are_62, congrats, and sorry to beat ya, well not really, but that is beside the point. I've already been validated. I got a request to validate my photo earlier this week, and I'm still wondering why I would have got a DQ request. Well, congrats to everyone else!
141st, not a lot of people got my tea theme and I guess the DOF is a little straining on the eyes, the shot I posted was not the shot I was aiming for, I had a problem with lighting :( Oh well.. But i am quite happy with the rating it got.
This was my first entry and I came 53rd. I'm happy with that. I just wanted to say thanks to the people that left me comments, they were all really helpful for me. If this is how people are all the time then I'm glad I joined the site.

Not because of spot editing or that I broke any rules... but because I forgot to set the date/time in my camera. I'll be adding it to my Portfolio and hope that the 6 who fav'd it will again.
I've even gone thru this before but wasn't among the top scorers so nothing came of it.

I like the spirit here. I am just newly turned on to digital photography and it seems that there is a place for every level here. I know my shots are nowhere near the best of you, but I know that mine are just as much a labor of love and enthusiasm. And that's what seems to be the common thread here!
