Yoy can use the Selective Color adjustment in both Advanced and Basic challenges, but in Basic you must apply the adjustment uniformly to the entire image; in Advanced you can apply it "selectively" to just parts of the image. This all assumes that you are not using the adjustment to make things "diappear" or to create new features.
