WOOOHOOO! I have 4 image credits in a new book...Long Island Lighthouses: Past & Present. Today it got a 3/4 page write up in the local paper & is also going to be written up in the NY Times!

All the pics in the book are in B&W, but the image for Fire Island is available...here it is framed. I just had these done for 2 shows I have this weekend since I'll be selling the book too & this is our most local lighthouse. It's on my website & orderable there up to 11x14 right now.
It's nice to see that someone has an interest in lighthouses. I know there are a few of them on Long Island. We even have one here where I live close to Port Credit in Ontario. I am also from Norway so used to seeing them quite often. I always thought it would be nice to have a job in a lighthouse but those jobs are now far and few between (if any).
Thank you all for the kind words. I'm very excited about all of it. Several things are in the works at the same time right now...some of which I can't say anything about just yet. I'll keep you posted as they happen. I'm hoping it all leads to the beginings of having some name recognition associated with my lighthouse photography & restoration work. Tough competition for that around here with the photography....there are already several local celebs in that area. Maybe the restoration work & tile murals I do will give me an edge :o)
