I couldn't find a thread specifically addressing this (though I'm sure there are several)
It would be nice to get email notification for both:
a) Someone adding you as a favorite photographer
b) Someone adding a photograph of yours as a favorite.
While it is possible to keep an eye on this manually, I just think it would be nice to be able to see, for a fact, that someone has added you or your photograph and have a record of it in email. We get entry confirmations, so the coding can't be that difficult?
When you open your profile page, just have a look to see if the numbers have changed.
It must really be a big bummer to get fav'd and not know about it for an hour or two LOL. (MM runs for cover)

I addressed that, but what happens when you're up to a hundred or so favorites? Or go away on vacation!? ;)

I think it's a good idea. I don't know how many times my photos have been fav'ed, I just don't keep track of it. Every now and then I check it and see new ones, but it would be nice to get a notification.
