I love the idea of this site and am getting comfortable with navigation. I've submitted my first challenge and did primarily to see how the site worked. I'm looking forward to getting to know other photographers, I'm impressed with the quality of work and hope to learn a lot. Thank you everyone who commented on my photos so far. As I continue to figure things out, my communication will get better :) as well as my ability to participate reguarly.
Welcome! A lovely first entry - I had the same interpretation of "star" and it seems the voters weren't agreeing with us. =) Don't worry too much about that, though - shoot what you like and most of all, have fun learning!

Thanks everybody...I currently frequent a different site though am unsatisfied completely with it and it's content/open mindedness (or lack of). I like the idea of challenges and that you have to do the shots during the period it's open...It's exciting and "challenging"...go figure. Well worth the membership fee and I feel so welcomed already with the comments here and on my posts. Thanks again.
