I would love to see a feature that automates when a person views a comment so those of us who leave a few here and there will know if the recipient has seen it. Not everyone uses the "Comment was helpful" box so it's hard to tell if people have seen new comments they have on their photographs. Thanks!
Nice idea Deb :) and, whilst we are here I sometimes leave comments that might ask a question so it would be good to get notification of a reply to a comment? (maybe have the code in the quote button to trigger a message?)

Same way it knows a photo or a thread has been viewed. If the owner of the photo opens and views the photo after a comment has been left, I guess the system could make the assumption that the comment was read. But it is just that, an assumption.
