I have searched and read the rules and then searched the forum again... Is it ok to use the Gamma offset tool across a whole image in basic?

Kamlan 28mm F1.4 MF for APS-C

Since it's a global brightness adjustment, yes, it's ok in Basic when applied to the entire image.
