okay so if you read my post in the other link then you know I'm going to try my first daycare thing.. so here's my ? if i do a package 8x10, 5x7, wallets.. how do I crop it so they are all the "same" picture?
I use full color to print, so I'm on here this morning messing with it and just realized wait a min.. hen i select a 8x10 i get this picture when i select 5x7 it cuts this part off, and wallets does this..
SOOOO, how is it when you go somewhere to have pictures taken, they all are cropped the same an in all different sizes.. can someone explain this to me?

so eah picture i have to go in and crop the original to all the sizes i want to print..
Yes, pretty much. Just make it easier on yourself by editing the original as a master file in the original size. (just don't save over the ORIGINAL original. hehe)
Then all you have to do is crop to the sizes you want from that.

What he said. For showing, you want to make a proof sheet that contains mini-versions of the crop sizes you offer. I do this using Photoshop CS3, but there are tutorials around that will show you how to do it if you don't have Photoshop.

I'm not sure if this is a question you asked, but I usually crop each edited "full" file (that's what I name my master edited original) to a 4x6 size for proofing. I explain to the clients that there will be minor differences in each size ordered. I choose the 4x6 because that is the size I offer on any CD's I sell, so if they order a CD/DVD the 4x6's are all ready to burn. I do not make the larger files available on CD / DVD.
