Yep, thanks for the reminder. After another month of camera gathering dust, I went out yesterday, and I'm editing my new lame shot now. :) Not really hoping to recover from last months abysmal score before the end of the year, but hoping to do much better this month. Hoping to get over 6.5 this time.
It wasn't a great month shooting for me and when I went out shooting for the FS not much went right. But the shot is editing and submitted; I'm just hoping for a 6+. I think I'll be dropping in the ranking a bit this month.
Heh - is it sad that I'm hoping for a 5+?? Can't seem to find the lofty heights anywhere near the neighborhood of 6 these days. Be kind, dear FS voters, be kind!
Enter it anyway! By the end of the month, a lot of us have stuff that may have been seen, or gives us away as the photog. Not everyone reads forums, and not everyone will remember who goes with what shot. Besides, we all tend to post our "good stuff" (and some of us a lot of other stuff as well) during the month. Only rarely have I had a shot that I immediately earmarked as a FS then kept it aside.

Have one or two other but My street challenge shot may give me away as the photographer...what to do...what to do...
I have a pretty good one to enter but I'm in the same boat as you, although with a different challenge. I think we may see quite a few entries that come from the themes of other challenges this month, at least more than normal. Not sure why but Oct always seems to be a tough month for shooting, at least for me.

I'm looking forward to the voting and feel chuffed that I'm entering an image I'm proud of rather than an alternative that would get the 'swift' (read eye candy) voters scoring well. Then again, maybe when I wake I'll feel differently lol.

Ecce Signum was banned from the zoo for taking too many snaps! Apparently you really can use the 1D like a point and shoot...isn't that right Andi? :-P ;o)
Well, after being MIA for quite some time, I am baaaack!
I actually entered the FS and commented 100% in two challenges - and that was just today! LOL
Well done! 100% comments is a big task, to actually stop and think about each photo long enough to type in a comment...but you learn so much along the way. :)
