All the numbers are lining up, time to buy a lottery ticket.

True Story: when I was a kid, my Mom took my brother and I to the dime store with her. She picked up seven little odds and ends, and we went to the cashier. The cashier rang it up, pulled the receipt and just stared and stared at it. She showed us: it was covered with 7's. It was July 7, '77, and the total was $7.77. 7/7/77 and 7.77

My Mom saved that receipt to prove it.

But 777 views and 7 comments is much more cooler (and more current!)

Back in the days of mechanical cash registers, my dad took a class on a field trip ot Baja California, and they stopped at this little store just this side of the border to pick up "a few" last-minute items.

When they hit Total on the poor little two-digit cash register, it rang up $00.00 -- it took them a while to figure out if it was $100, $200, or $300 of stuff ...

Hope you bought fast, because they're not lined up any more ;)

*sigh* when mine line up they're either all 13's or 666...

Ya, I got 50 more views in this post. So there goes that deal...oh well. Too bad there wasn't a mirror challenge when I did this shot. It would have more than likely been DQ'd though because I did a bit too much post work. I have the best idea for the mirror challenge, but it would not qualify under the current rules. I might do the shot anyway because I can see it in my head and it is just so darn cool!
