Following on from a couple of threads that have been banging around, I hereby open the November Cameraphone Side challenge to those brave souls who are not afraid to step outside of their comfort zones, leave your dSLR at home, and get your phone out. No not at all, whatever you can manage, I'm going to be posting as much as possible but Uni work is an unrelenting Mistress! This is a chilled challenge.
If I could figure out how to get the damn things from my phone to my computer, I might try it out. My son tells me it has something to do with Old Green-teeth. Anyway, going into a second month of the Street Candid SC, what a great (sneaky) way to get candid shots! How do I even tell what kind of phone/camera I have? It's a Sanyo/Sprint something or other, it looks like...
I don't think my phone shows proper exif data, it doesn't show shot time.
For our purposes I don't think it matters too much, it is possible to upload .jpg images to the site even if the exif data isn't in it, but it's required for proper challenges to authenticate the shots were taken by you within the time etc.
My camera phone is fairly pathetic, but I did not buy it for it's outstanding optical qualities. Might be fun to try, especially putting some of them alongside the same scene from my SLR. Sign me up.
im gonna bust out the old n95, has 5mp it won some award over in europe for best camera phone too. o and it has one of those carl z lense too with amazing macro abilities!!
