Actually it's too late for that one: National Geographic runs "local" contests from August through October each year, and *this* contest is open only the winners of a local contest in the past year, as of 10/31/2008. The image you enter must be your previously-winning entry.
Actually, you have until October 31 to enter the local I guess....
