Whenever I take a cool pic, I post it in my profile to show it off to my friends, BUT if it comes to the end of the month and that pic ends up being my best pic of the month, is there any problem hiding that pic and submitting it in the free study? I just thought i would ask incase someone complains that my entry had already been seen...

This isn't really that much of a problem for a free study but more so for a "Best of 2008"...

People do that all the time -- issue also comes up with side challenge photos that then get used for main challenges (either freestudy or one of the weekly ones). Just make sure you hide it -- and preferably as soon as you know you plan to use it.

ETA:
Here is one I converted from a side challenge to a main challenge (S Curves) due to great comments I got during the side challenge, and it did well (6.42).

I have also used a side challenge photo which got nice comments in the side challenge for a main challenge and it then bombed in the main challenge. So it can work both ways.
