Hold up a piece of white paper so that it reflects on the key surfaces. Illuminate that paper rather than the keys themselves. This should give you a nice image where the keys are bright, but not at the cost of the exposure on the headstock. |
i wanted to try and light up the tuners a lot brighter than everything else, just to see what it looked like. I thought a plain evenly lit shot of a guitar would have been boring, so I tried illuminating the tuners.
