Hi Tony, I'm not in the North West but do get up that way occasionally and from November I should be up in/around Liverpool for a couple of days a month.
I can't help with a frequent shooting buddy but if you can cope with one every now and again I'd be happy to meet up sometime :o)

Funny you should mention it actually Sarah! I am working on a GTG to Formby in the Spring of next year with some photography friends who live up that way...was thinking of posting here when I had some definite details...might have to do a 'city' GTG around the same time too ;o)
So far there are about 10-15 of us...now can we get you to schedule a visit in March next year Sarah??

Just name the day. My parents live about 10 mins from Formby, so I'm all over that. I'll even volunteer to be a local tour guide!!

Cool! I'll get on to the others and see if we can fix a date!
The same thing applies for that GTG as the current London one I posted about here, it's for the walk around the world for brain tumours so the distance covered gets added to the world total for 2009...no fundraising or anything required just a group of photographers taking a stroll around a nice corner of the country and helping bring a little attention to 'the cause' :o)
