Looks like this week's Open challenges have created gobs of low scores. Personally, I am within .006 of my lowest score ever. I could achieve a new record!!
So who's willing to compete for new personal worst? Rules are as follows:
- final score in either Upside Down III or Inside Out must be your lowest score ever in a challenge
- you must have entered and completed more than one challenge on DPC (two's fine)
- winner will be the one with the greatest margin of worstness (new worst score minus old worst score)
- in case of a tie, winner will be the one with the lowest actual virtual score
- in case of a tie on the tie-breaking criteria, we'll just have multiple winners
- losers agree to comment on the winner's (or one of the winners') image if they did not do so during the challenge
Who's in? I'll take names up until 48 hours before rollover!

You're not even trying, I'm currently 0.5 below my pw so count me in :)
I guess I'm currently doing quite good, I'm only 0.069 below my PW. But that was a really crappy picture, and the photo in the last challenge is probably my most thought of photograph submitted to DPC challenges. ok, the execution could have been better, but I admit I expected somewhat higher scores...
I'm in for the personal worst challenge!
I'm in too. My PW is 4.44, and I'm at 4.73 now, so I think I'll even lose in this PW challenge. But hey, what the heck.
And if there any free helpful comments floating around to be had, I'm for sure in. Because, of course, my wonderfully terrible 4.73 shot has exactly zero comments so far....
Mine may be close to a PW, but I just snagged the brown in the Bros Grimm Challenge. I even beat Posthumous to the bottom with a clear, sharp, well lit entry. That's going to be tough to underdo. My actual PW is an intentional brown effort that was underdone by a black square. It scored a 3.26, which I thought was too high.
Looks like everyone's scores are "upside down" this week ? I am happy that I didn't enter one of these. I had one for the "inside out", but did not think it DPCish enough to beat my current average.
Finally a reason to live, ever since I entered the DPCOIII I'm having trouble breaking 5 and moments ago I was contemplating, having my eyes replaced for new ones :)
PLEASE count me in, it would be nice to get something other than the brown for this set of challenges :)
What a roller coaster - up over my worst, then under, over, then under. I can't wait for this challenge to be buried and put to rest. Unfortunately, I'll have to look at that pathetic score until it falls off my home page. :-(
Oh darn - I think I'm out of the running for this PW challenge. My Upside Down score has crept up to just over 5 in the past few days, which only puts it into the top 25 of my personal worst scores, and nowhere near my number 1 personal worst score of 4.4 Middle of the pack. That's me....
