after writing the WOW post, I was wondering too. I know my gun would explode the glass and probably anything else behind it for a nine mile radius lol.
But seriously, I'm interested in how you captured this, timing wise. Did you just get lucky? I wish you could use continuous shutter with a speedlite... I could imagine every failed shot involves a cleanup job.
Aha! I tried a similar shot once with disastrous and painful results. In looking at your setup, I now can clearly see the flaw in the way I was doing it:

Heh,heh... too late! ;-) Great shots, VERY interesting. I wonder what sort of ammunition was used. I'd LOVE to try this but I don't think my husband would get over the shock of me even suggesting it ;-) I did try dropping glasses filled with liquid a couple of times - the mess was awesome...
