I made it today at afternoon across the street from my work. Its not fully blossomed yet what makes it really nice. I would like to hear some comments on it.
the flower shots are nice, DOF is good, but look a bit under exposed. some brighter light would definatelly help get rid of the dark feel the photos have.

This is a strait shots from my camera no editing at all just resizes.
The second shot of the original bunch is decent, and has a good lesson for all of us. Even with low depth of field, the background still matters greatly, and that is what separates the second from the other two.
The other thing I notice is that these should be REALLY sharp at the focal point. So, either you need to have a tripod (or other rest device) or, you need to deal with my usual problem on these shots: wind. A branch that long is going to have a little motion if there is any wind at all. Not sure that is the problem, just something to think about.

So another picture say do not use digital zoom in any condition.
