Isn't it funny how a challenge comes up on the main screen and immediately an idea pops in your head. You go and get the supplies, start shooting, and finally get the picture that looks best to you and submit it. Once voting starts you look back at your picture and realize how bad it actually looks and ask yourself, what was i thinking? You then look at the score and comments and start to understand that everyone else on DPChallenge agrees with you, your picture sucks! I hate this feeling, does anyone else ever go through this? Lets post some stories or pictures here.....I can't post my horrible shot right yet since the challenge is still going on!
nope, just you. ;) j/k happens all the time. My wife now refuses to be in any part of the choosing process. She said everytime she picks and image for me, it bombs...I've tried to let her know that the images I pick bomb too but she doesn't believe me.

NEVER shoot/edit/enter while on meds.
NEVER trust that the voters will take pity on you and overlook imperfections, once your meds wear off and you see how bad the shot really is.

I looked on your page sabphoto and most of your pics that have low scores deserved alot higher....people just score crazy on this site sometimes. Tell your wife it is not her, its the site! lol

It has only happened to me once so far, in Numbers. In fact, I went so far as to self-critique this one in the photographer's comments during the voting. lol.
I was so very happy with it when I submitted it, but by day 2, I was wondering what drugs I was on.

lol thanks. There are a few there that I look back on and wish I'd done different (or not at all) but that is all part of learning right...(Shoot, if we truly learned from our mistakes I would be better than Ansel Adams lol). But that is what I love so much about DPC, it's a great place to learn humility.

That's funny--I just recently came to the conclusion my problem was I wasn't on NEARLY enough meds/substances while shooting/editing my entries...

You go and get your credit card and start making yourself a new account even though you have been banned from the site several times(Maybe if I throw some money at it again no one will notice that I am shewho). Then voting starts and I post in a few threads until someone notices I am not new at all and ask yourself, what was I thinking? You then look back at your account and you realize your account has been cancelled, again! I hate that feeling, does anyone else go through this when their new accounts get cancelled after they have been banned?! Lets post some ghost accounts here. I can't post my horrible shot right yet since I have been caught again and banned from DPC!
