I give them a small percentage as a thank you.
My reasoning is that they're providing me with a venue and a bunch of ready-made clients, and the least I can do is let them share in a piece of the profit as a good will gesture. I did a pre-school in our area last fall, and the parents were thrilled with the results and I ended up booking two weddings as a result of it. And they're having me back later this fall to do this year's shots.
I figure it just makes sense to give them something in return... otherwise, what real incentive do they have to alter a day of activities to accommodate pictures? Plus the staff members have been very helpful in keeping the kids organized, and they're in direct contact with the parents to help distribute information and the packages. It's definitely worth offering a little $$ for their help. And no, I don't jack up pricing to some exorbitant amount to accommodate it.
