Great photos, Nick! I was in Florence in 1988. Beautiful place. ...but I wish they would update their buildings and such - some of those places look like they could be hundreds of years old! And people chide me for my 70's shag carpet - sheesh! :P
I lived in Florence for a year more than 30 years ago, and for 4 months about 18 months ago. Here are my Florence Photos. It is a treat to stay someplace long enough to develope a feel for it, to go back and shoot the same subjects in different weather and light, and to internalize some of what you experience.

Hey Nick! Nice shots. Gotta love Florence and the surrounding small towns. I've been there twice with the last time being on invite from Dr.Confuser last year when he was there teaching (thanks Chuck). Hope to see more of your visit.
