The second photo you posted looks a bit oversharpened- you have a bit of the halo effect surrounding your subject, which I'm assuming is due to sharpening. Personally I like your entry more, although, as others have pointed out, I think a frontal view would be better. It also seems like things should be a little sharper, which is likely due to either the application of noise reduction or perhaps it just needed a little bit more sharpening, since a 1/2000 shutter should stop everything. Also, I wouldn't think noise to be a huge issue at only 400, so maybe you were a bit heavy handed? Anyway, I did like your entry a good amount in the first place. Great timing and you did a great job following the prompt for the challenge. |
