Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro for Canon

Rather than just shooting money, I tried doing some yet more flower macros:

This is with the 100mm macro, with 1.4x tele and a 25mm extension tube (mainly to allow the teleconverter to fit with the macro lens)

For some context, this is the stamen of a pink primrose, like you can see in this shot

I love the focus on that first shot!
The colors are also really pleasing.

The water drops reall enhance the flower macro. Nice shots.

I like how much you get out of a few simple colors and shapes.

Makes me want to line up and kick a field goal though ....

Nice shot Gordon. I love the subtle radiating blue/white/purple lines in the background!!

Should we turn this into a "flower stamen macro" thread? =]
