Hello my fellow photographers! I need some advice. I am shooting a cage fight for the first time next Friday night. I've shot fights before but they have all been inside a boxing ring. I'll be using the marvelous Canon EOS-1D Mark III with a 24-70mm f/2.8L and will have 18GB of memory with me. My main concern is focusing through the chain link fence. Should I be using one shot focus or ai servo? Or will I have to use manual focus...eeks! Does anyone have experience with this? I know you can make the chain link fence dissapear shooting with a large aperture, but these cage fights are really fast pace and you don't have the luxury of having time to manually focus every shot. Can you guys give me some tips? Anything will help. Thanks! |
