My awful disgrace of a computer finally died for good the day before yesterday. Unfortunately it took with it about 5 hours of work I had done since the backup I did the morning of it's fatality, but everything else was either carefully and slowly salvaged from the remains of the poor harddrive or backup up on in cd and backup drive form.
Point of the story: I now have a macbook pro!! I am in heaven. I also can't sleep because I am in my new dorm and I guess I am restless. Anywho. Yay
